Clarity and privacy

Your data is not a business model.

Clarity uses data to provide the features you request — not for advertising profiles or data trading. In the iOS chat, Customize lets you allow personal areas individually: Day & planning, School, Projects, Memory and Conversations. Ariadne receives only a bounded snapshot of the confirmed account. Conversations also require each Voice Note used to be enabled for AI; permission for the area alone is not enough.

Privacy is architecture

Control begins before data moves.

Clarity controls permissions where data originates — for example in Health, Memory or a connection. Chat focus ranks the answer. Personal areas are allowed separately under Customize; changing focus does not extend source permission. An AI action shows its scope; a support case does not silently use earlier conversations.

Room for each other. Space for yourself.

Together. With spaceto be yourself.

Sharing everyday life doesn’t mean sharing an account. Clarity makes room for what brings you together — and what each person keeps to themselves.

Be there for school. By Lena’s choice.

Maria asks. Lena chooses whether to share her school report. She decides when Maria can take a look — and when sharing ends.

How’s school
going?

Sometimes a shared view helps. With the school report Lena chooses to share, Maria can follow along — from the timetable to the next exam.

No report yet

Nothing is shared before Lena agrees.

An event only becomes its own calendar copy when someone chooses to add it.

More about privacy

Three product principles

Private, without small print in the interface.

Purpose limitation

One permission for one clear purpose.

Clarity does not bundle cloud AI, family, school, health, location and Support into one blanket consent.

Disclosed context

You choose the personal sources.

Your control

View, export, correct and delete.

The web account explains the request routes. Until new web support cases are released, it points directly to the published support email for export and deletion.

Separate permissions

You open only what you need.

Family, school, health, location, Support and cloud AI are not bundled into one consent. Every permission remains tied to its purpose.

Current Ariadne data route

You choose the personal sources.

In the iOS chat, Customize lets you allow Day & planning, School, Projects, Memory or Conversations. Ariadne uses a bounded snapshot of your confirmed account. Without that permission, those areas are not read automatically. Conversations also require AI permission for each Voice Note used. Selected Smart Notes and explicitly attached content remain separate sources. Allowances are explained as chat messages per day.

Voice Notes also need their own AI permission

Transparency in numbers and boundaries

What Clarity does not hide in the background.

These statements describe product boundaries, not invented reach or infrastructure metrics.

0

advertising profiles

Clarity does not build advertising audience profiles from your content.

6

separate permission areas

Family, school, health, location, Support and cloud AI are named individually.

C0–C4

clear action boundaries

Reading, suggesting, confirming, bounded execution and human-only decisions remain separate.

Confirmation

only after execution

A sent request is not a completed deletion. The website does not show an outcome the system has not confirmed.

Privacy in the product

Four routes you can verify for yourself.

01

Permissions

Every sensitive data route is assigned to a specific purpose. Available settings are shown in your Clarity Account; the website does not invent toggle states the server does not know.

Account privacy

02

Support

The current case remains the current case. Earlier support cases are not currently used automatically as AI context, and you can request Support without AI.

Support privacy

03

Export and correction

The account shows the documented request route. While new web support cases remain closed, it opens the published support email; the website does not claim a case status.

04

Deletion

A deletion request and its technical execution are two different states. Sending the email confirms only the request, not the deletion.

Legal detail, without hiding it in marketing.

The Legal Centre separates privacy, providers, AI, children, health, Support and Voice Notes into their own versioned documents.
