  1. Open Family. As organiser, create a family with an eligible Family plan, or open your invitation.

  2. Set the family name and your role. Read the displayed requirements before completing setup.

  3. Invite people individually. Check their profile and intended role; invited members do not need their own Family subscription.

  4. Start with a shared task or shopping list. Check who can see and edit it.
