Link parent and child accounts

Each person uses their own account. A personal invitation brings you into the same family. School sharing and parental controls are set up separately afterwards.

Your next steps0 / 5
  1. Sign in on both devices using each person’s own Clarity account. Invitations are tied to the selected account; do not share passwords or sign-in codes.

  2. The organiser opens Family, then Invite. Choose the confirmed child account if offered, or find the person by @username or Clarity ID.

  3. Check the profile and the person’s role in your family. Send the personal invitation only when both are correct. An invitation lasts seven days and applies only to that account.

  4. On the child’s account, open Join Family or the pending invitations. Check the family name and role, then choose Accept invitation.

  5. Reopen Family on both devices and check that membership is confirmed. Then set up school sharing, chat rules and Screen Time separately if needed.

Check off steps as you go. Progress stays on this page only.
