Fictional everyday example

Your words. A little more familiar.

SamStudent

Sam is reading about sustainability for his language course. Some words are familiar; others send him back to the dictionary. He collects the new terms in his own deck, checks their translations and later tries to recall each answer first. The reading becomes a small exercise he can return to.

A closer look

Turn your own word list into active practice.

Decks with a language direction

A deck groups words for a topic and carries the relevant languages and subject. Different courses or themes remain their own collections. For your next session, you can open the deck connected to the material you are studying. Its language direction already belongs to the collection and accompanies the cards.

You practise with a selection connected to what you are actually learning.

One word or a text list

Terms and translations can be added individually or together from a text list. You then check the cards and correct mismatched entries. You can start with a few words of your own or use a list you already have. Additional routes through AI, voice or photos depend on access and the required permissions.

You can start small while still making use of a list you already have.

Examples and accepted answers

A term can include a translation, an example, notes and further accepted answers. You record which expressions fit and how the word is used. The details remain editable. When your course explains a meaning more precisely, you can add that understanding to the card and return to it during later practice.

Your practice can reflect how a word is used, beyond a single fixed spelling.

Try the answer yourself

The card view keeps the answer hidden until you reveal it. Quiz, typing and listening provide other modes. You choose an exercise for what you want to practise: recalling a translation, writing it yourself or working with words you hear. The collection becomes a chance to make an attempt of your own.

You have room to recall the answer before the solution appears.

Reviews in context

Within a deck, you can see due cards and recorded learning activity. Statistics keep the relevant exercises in context, distinguishing repeated attempts from different cards. You can look at the last session and choose the next starting point. Your own experience of using the words adds context to those recorded details.

You have a traceable starting point for the next short review.
