The planned attention area brings together up to three unresolved entries. When more exist, their count remains visible and another route leads to Inbox. Noah could begin with a short view and continue reading when needed. It would draw on relevant unresolved information from his connected Inbox context, keeping a brief beginning with a route into the wider picture.
You should be able to begin briefly while knowing that more entries remain.
An important change with its context
The since-yesterday area is intended to carry a relevant change. Its title and details would explain what is new and why it appears. In Noah’s fictional example, that would be a change to the study group. At breakfast, he could recognise something worth another look and continue to its source for the precise information.
You should be able to distinguish unfinished work from something that has newly changed.
From the brief to the saved source
An openable notice is intended to take Noah to the Inbox. He could inspect its source and saved context there, so the short row does not need every detail. For the study group, that would connect the change to its precise information. What can appear depends on the sources he has actually connected and permitted for this purpose.
A short notice should retain a traceable route to its details.
A possible time conflict as a separate notice
The preview provides for a separate notice when recorded times may contradict each other. Connected calendars and entries need enough information for that comparison. Noah could inspect both affected details together and continue to their sources. A planning decision would follow that review: when the study group moves, the appointment after it needs to stay in the same picture.
A timing contradiction should be discoverable before you confirm a new plan.
One usable window instead of a daily sum
The free-time preview names a specific continuous window. Its start and end should make clear which part of the day is being considered, based on recorded times from connected sources. Noah could check that window in Calendar and decide whether an assignment fits or whether he wants to keep the time for something else in his afternoon.
Later planning should relate to an understandable window rather than a misleading total.
