1. Not a medical service
Clarity supports organisation and wellbeing. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease, monitor emergencies, or replace a doctor, pharmacy, therapy or crisis support. Values, reminders, trends and AI may be wrong or delayed. Do not change medication, diet, exercise or treatment based solely on Clarity. In danger, call local emergency services.
2. Apple Health and sensors
HealthKit, fitness, motion, location and medication data is read or written only after Apple permission. Categories can be withdrawn in iOS. Audecius does not use HealthKit data for advertising, data trading or impermissible profiling. Deleting data in Clarity does not automatically delete it from Apple Health, and vice versa; the relevant interface must explain the effect.
3. US consumer-health data
Laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act may protect health, fitness, mood, sleep, medication, nutrition, location and inferred-interest data even where HIPAA does not apply. Sources are you, Apple frameworks, devices and people or services you select. Purposes are requested features, synchronisation, security and support. Audecius does not sell this data.
4. Consent and sharing
Collection or sharing that is not necessary requires separate, informed consent. Cloud AI, family, school, organisation and integrations are different recipients and must not be bundled. A sale would require separate signed authorisation; Audecius does not offer data for sale. Processors are contractually limited to the purpose.
5. Rights and public notice
Where applicable, you may request confirmation of processing, access data, receive a list of recipients, withdraw consent and have data deleted, including certain backups. Refusals can be appealed. Before distribution in affected US states, this notice must be publicly available as a clearly labelled Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy and reflect actual categories, sources, purposes, recipients and deletion technology.
