1. Age model
Clarity is available from age 13. People aged 13 to 17 need consent from a parent or legal guardian where local law does not allow them to consent effectively on their own. Children under 13 are blocked until verifiable parental or school approval, child-appropriate information and required consents are implemented technically. Age is collected as a category rather than a full date of birth unless an exact date is necessary.
2. Parent or guardian declaration
The parent or guardian confirms authority to act, awareness of the processing and responsibility for age-appropriate use. The local acceptance record stores only the fact that this declaration was made, not a name or email address. The declaration is not verifiable COPPA consent for children under 13. Audecius may request proportionate evidence.
3. High privacy by default
Profiles, location, contacts, health and communications of minors remain private by default. Optional sharing, discoverability, cloud AI and product measurement are not enabled in advance. Notices are concise and age-appropriate, with full detail available. Nudging, manipulative design and advertising profiling are prohibited.
4. Family and school
Parents, guardians, schools and organisations see only data approved for their role and stated purpose. Clarity must not enable covert surveillance. Minors receive understandable notices explaining who can see what. Safeguarding reports may remain confidential; parental or guardian access may be limited where disclosure would endanger the child or infringe rights.
5. Rights and local rules
Minors and parents or guardians may request appropriate access, correction, export, withdrawal and deletion. In conflicts, Audecius considers age, maturity, safety, confidentiality and the child's best interests. The stricter applicable protection applies. App Store availability or features are restricted where local age verification, parental approval, data localisation or child-safety requirements have not been implemented.
